Our family unit has been coming to the Pioneer Center for many years to see the Nutcracker, various ballet performances, various plays, the Reno Combo and the Spirit of the Flavor. Although there is not a clothes code for the Pioneer Center meaning vesture what is comfortable for you with out going too casual (flip flops and bathing adjust might be frowned upon - LOL) but for us this has always been a treat reminding me of when I was a footling daughter going with my Grandmother, family or friends family to the ballet or another performing art featured performance. My husband and I along with our family volition don our all-time dressed with him in a arrange and I in either a cocktail dress or gown to make the night special occasion as I have remembered from when I was just a little girl. There is a complimentary coat bank check to keep your jackets by will call so that you lot can sit down comfortably at your seats with out having to juggle your coat in chair. The bar is cash only but there is an ATM on site, it is a full bar with wine, beer, booze and non-alcoholic options to include java and tea along with a variety of snacks. It is asked that you open up your snack options prior to the start of the functioning as not to disturb other patrons or the bandage/performers (rustling of snack wrappers can be a bit noisy) and so proceed that in mind when ordering also there are no cup holders for your drinkable choice as this is an older theater. My son performed here for Loftier Schoolhouse honors orchestra... what a fun experience! I've besides been here for plays and watching the Reno Philharmonic and I've never been disappointed!

Very good thought out seating arrangement but entrance infinite very crammed and non very inviting. Buffet was i star for selection and toll. I've never seen such a poor selection. I came in for Shen Yun ballet. Would it be nice to see some Chinese snacks and drinks. At least some teas. It was recommended on the ticket to come up in an hour earlier and many did and very picayune to do.

Nice venue. Bathroom on the balustrade floor was only 3 stalls! Time for an upgrade there. Long line at intermission. Acoustics were not bad!

Shen Yun was a beautiful testify. Every dance showed a dissimilar story. The dances and their costumes where admittedly beautiful. Definitely worth seeing once again.
